Summary
This course of instruction is focused on building and fine tuning Instructors that are already highly proficient with an edged weapon. Here you will learn the anatomical effects of various (slash and stab / stab and slash) combinations. Build attack sequences ranging from 4 – 8 different points of impact each anatomically designed to facilitate a smooth and highly efficient transition with termination as a final objective.
A skilled operator will attempt to control the encounter as soon as he/she realizes the possibility of an engagement. Most individuals involved in a knife attack do not register they have been cut until it is all over with. If you cannot read the attack coming or identify the threat your fate will be determined by the skill set of the enemy combatant, your environment and luck.
This course is where the rubber meets the road. The operator will be pushed to their physical and psychological limits. Upon completion the operator will demonstrate an innate ability to force oppositional mistakes, camouflage attack sequences, and end the engagement quickly.
Stress Inoculation and sensory deprivation training will be embedded throughout this entire course of instruction. Shock Knives, Aluminum Knives and REAL weapons will be introduced. Appropriate safety equipment is mandatory at all times!
This is a challenging “High Speed” course of instruction. Many misconstrue “High Speed” evolutions for operators fully decked out in their tactical gear ripping through training. “High Speed” evolutions exist when your student base has mastered the basics and can continuously demonstrates an innate ability to apply their skill to the unknown.
