Nir is the Lead Counter-Terror and Krav Maga Instructor, Israeli Defense Force
Special Forces Division.
Nir was born in Israel into a highly active military family.He served in an elite unit in the Israeli Special Forces with the Northern Command.After completing his service in the IDF, he moved back to North America where he became a Police Officer and Instructor with a major Police Academy and was responsible for teaching Police Recruits and SWAT Units in the following areas: Defensive Tactics, Firearms, Use of Force, Tactical and SWAT Operations.
His background includes extensive training and experience in Counter-Terrorism and Counter-Guerrilla Operations, Unconventional Urban Warfare and Close Quarters Combat.
In 2006 during the second Israel/Lebanon war Nir returned to Israel and re-enlisted in the IDF where he was assigned to the Central Command Special Forces Division.He is one of the lead Counter-Terror and Krav Maga Instructors training the IDF’s CT and Hostage Rescue Units.
Nir specializes in the instruction of Counter-Terrorism Operations and has 20 plus years of extensive training in various Martial Arts and Unarmed Combat Systems including Krav Maga, Hisardut, Hap Ki Do, Jeet Kune Do, and WTF Tae kwon Do.
Sark Security Group R&D SME awarded the 2009 IDF Ground Forces Command Soldier of the Year Award of Excellence for his work in enhancing and developing Counter-Terror Combat Tactics for Special Forces Counter-Terror Units and for his exceptional work and service in commanding the Counter-Terror School's International Training Branch.
