The History Behind The Name
| In 2005 Chris Ghannam founded Sark Securities Inc. named in honor of his late grandfather Sam "Sark" Ingesoulian who was better known as Sark. A company explicitly designed to provide the United States Government with the most advanced conventional and unconventional survival based training platforms to date.
Mr. Ingesoulian was known for “setting the standard” in every aspect of life. The former star semi-pro baseball player turned down his life’s passion by rejecting the offer to be a catcher for the New York Giants so that he could devote more time to his family.

Mr. Ingesoulian met his wife (Paulette) while serving his country in France during WWII. Sam survived “The Beach” and was later transferred to a local hospital to care for wounded soldiers in France. A decorated US Army Medic and tough nosed Professional Boxer known for his rock like hands quickly fell in love with a young French woman and soon to be wife Paulette. Sam and Paulette were married in 1945 and returned to the United States in 1947 after Mr. Ingesoulian was honorably discharged from the United States Army.

Paulette frequently visited her mother Madeleine Videcoq who worked as a hospital employee by day and one of the few female guides of the underground tunnels by night.
Madeleine Videcoq was responsible for providing safe passage for several hundred Jews forced to flee Nazi persecution. She was a remarkable woman who continuously risked her life for the freedom of others. | |

In 1956, he and his brother George founded Dependable Hard Chrome Co. A highly successful business that provided chrome parts for the neighboring automobile industry on the outskirts of Detroit Michigan. In the late 50’s, Mr. Ingesoulian’s chrome plant came under heavy scrutiny for his willingness to defy racism by providing lucrative employment opportunities for the African American community.
Mr. Ingesoulian will always be remembered as a devoted family man and mentor who led by example. He was a lifelong professional that exemplified honor, courage and commitment. A role model for many that will never be forgotten.

Sam "Sark" Ingesoulian passed away on August 27, 1996 at the age of 72. |
